Does anyone have a rotisserie they are done with? I have been constantly checking Craigslist with no luck and looked on the internet and not sure of which one to exactly go with. Every manufacturer states theirs is better than the other. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions of has one they are done with.

you could make your own, build what you need for your car, and practice up on the welding at the same time.. Smiley

I have the Bottoms Up Lift 1500lb capacity car rotisserie with the pneumatic tire option.  The only change I would make would be to find a way to mount the rear of the vehicle solid instead of through the rubber in the rear spring mount.  I would probably make bushings out to aluminum to fit in there.

I used the same one with brackets and both seta of tires. Could take a john Deere gator and pull around the driveway. Worked fine.

What did you guys do for the front? Attach to the subframe or firewall? And did you have to buy additional brackets for the front? Thanks for the help!

If you are going that far (rotisserie frame off), then you should remove the subframe for restoring independently which also reduces the load on your rotisserie support.   Attach to the same points on the body that the subframe attaches to, and the large nutserts at the top of the firewall (for the fenders)..

 That's one heck of a clean garage. Have you ever restored a car in there before?
The 69 looks good from the top. Does the bottom need much work to warrant a rotisserie?

Never restored one in my garage, usually at my uncle's house. The garage gets cleaned regularly, I guess I have OCD.

Driver's rear floor pan. When I got the car it was just laid in there and had a few welds and they sealed her up with some good ol expanding foam. "Quality work in my opinion".


Drivers toe board had a replacement toe baord just laid right on top of it till I pried it out in 5 mins.


The best for last...The car has had quarters put on it and if you were to go to all that trouble why would you not replace the trunk fillers??

My old bones would sure appreciate the purchase (last session of dropping in a Muncie nearly put me in the hospital. Or at least, that was the "sympathy generating reasoning"). I just can't crawl around on the concrete like I used to -
