"837" alternator deep grove pulley

Did the deep grove alternator (#1100837) pulley have a notch in it???   I have seen some deep groove alternator pulleys without a notch in it??

Thanks John, The notch is under the nut, like a keyway kind of thing.  See the "notch" in the fan??  Does the pulley have this??

No, never have I seen a deep groove from a 837 with a keyway, only the fan. I have 3 originals to compare.

I believe the '67 Z28 and L78 alt pulley had the notch you're describing.
