I have been trying to locate a power brake vacuum hose bracket for my 69 Z and as they are difficult to source they are fairly expensive. I have recently located one however before I make the purchase decision I'd like to confirm its a factory original.  I have a single photo of one I believe to to be original (see photo: "Original Example") that I am using as a reference however I cannot confirm its authenticity.  I've also posted 2 photos of the bracket that I have been offered to purchase (see photos: "Offered to Purchase"). I did note there is a small crack in the corner crease of the bracket. As there are subtle differences between the brackets and as I only have one data point as a reference I would appreciate input from members who have an original bracket. Photos would of course be helpful.

Looks good to me, but the experts need to see it. Here is one I had in my pictures library marked "original"... But ya never know.. Note the stamp is "AS" not AAC. Could be another supplier?? Looks like we are both about to learn something... Danny

The bracket labeled 'AAC' appears correct, matches what is on my car....

The bracket in the photos Danny posted seems too short.

Were the assembly line ones zinc plated, natural, or phosphate?

For some reason I'm thinking it was natural..  But I might be wrong.

My original is zinc-plated; I doubt if any of them were "natural", as they'd rust quickly, and everything around them was either painted, plated, or aluminum. See my "Bracket Location" photo in the first post in this thread.

I thought that after I posted but figured someone that had an OE piece would chime in.  Thanks John!!   ;D

Had the original on my car re-plated in clear zinc.  Jerry M had it replated as part of the overall engine/trans restoration.

A couple of photos showing some of the differences between the original and reproduction brackets. I posted more photos and description on TC.
