Correct big block starter
« on: July 26, 2013, 11:23:30 AM »
I have a X66 L35 automatic and want to put the correct dated and casting number starter on the car. In Jerry's book i have read it takes a 1108418, but have read elsewhere that this particular casting is for manual transmissions. Can someone let me know if there is a separate starter for automatics? Or is this mention of a starter for manual transmissions Internet folklore as John Z says :D

Thanks,

Lawrence
