Radiator Bugs
« on: June 27, 2013, 06:23:58 PM »
Anyone have any ideas for screening or something to keep bugs out of the radiator. Sort of like the screen they sell for the Tri Fives? Or will that work for Camaros?

Do you mean on the core or inside in the juice? :)

I assume you mean road kill on the core and think you could use nylon house screen of some type or just hose down the rad core every few rides so they don't build up.

As opposed to a grill mask, I suppose?
Never seen one for a Camaro.
Shouldn't be all that hard to take measurements and make one...

Used to see a number of cars in Florida with mesh over the grill. I was told it was to keep the "no see ums" out of the radiator. I presume they were referring to tiny bugs.
