Ed,
I was in the Knoxville, TN area this weekend, so I called the number and spoke to the seller.  He is actually in Knox County, KY, so I was not able to visit or photo the tags, nor would he tell me the VIN.
He told me he has only the Trim Tag and the VIN plate from the dash, that he took from a car long ago (car now long gone).. don't they all say that?
He wants $3000 for the tags, and informed me that use of these tags on a dynacorn body or another body would increase the value of the restored car by 3X.

PS. You do have the BDY No from the ad, so maybe with that you can track what happens to it in the future..

Thanks anyway Gary. I appreciate the effort! Maybe someone in the Knox County area can pay him a visit.
