Hey guys, this may be a needle in a haystack for one of you from Virgina so I thought I would post it up. This is an auction for a old style license frame : E.J. Watt Chevrolet out of South Boston

http://www.ebay.com/itm/EJ-Wyatt-Chevrolet-Dealer-South-Boston-Va-Metal-License-Plate-Frame-/191475893325?ssPageName=ADME:SS:SS:US:1120

So if you are from Virginia or your car is maybe this is what you have been searching for :

good luck!

The original owner of my 69 Z/28 bought it new at Wilkins Chevrolet, Norfolk VA then went down the street a year later to Colonial to purchase a new 70 Yenko Deuce. Must have been a cool place to car shop back in the day. He sent me polaroid's of both cars.

with Norfolk being a navy town, I'm betting that your 'original owner' was a Navy man in '69-70, Len!  Smiley   I was in the USAF during those years, stationed at Keesler AFB, MS, and our hobby shop was like a 'Muscle Car Gathering' every weekend when it was open during those years.    We didn't have or make very much money, but be assured we spent it ALL on muscle cars.. Smiley

PS.  Does your car still have the front guards on it, Len?   Mine doesn't have, but I have NOS ones I intended to install, but now I'm having second thoughts.  Do you like them?

Gary, you are right he was a Navy man stationed aboard the USS Muliphen. He had just returned from a tour of Viet Nam when he purchased the Z.

No, the front guards are not there now. Its funny you should mention them, after I posted these pictures I was asking myself that very question. I don't think I really care for them although I'm sure I will put them back on when I do the frame off someday.
