I did the side mounts to the new 69 Camaro I bought in 69! The insulated covers do not get hot. This 350 has Dart heads, Headman shorty headers and a short curve to the side 2.5" exhaust. It has plenty of power and torque. It is very loud and that's what I wanted. I have not been to car show of sorts in over 20 yrs. I have a 76 Rolls I drive and that I have won many national awards. I don't even own a trailer as I drive all my cars as often as I can. After 8 months I am still sorting this one out but down to the thermostate sender which I think I solved and hope to do today and the back up light switch which I have from a 68 Camaro and need to install and find the proper wires to hook up. I still have a front right brake problem which locks up from time to time. I have changed the lines and hoses but will work on the calipers next.
