Call the PPG library if your jobber does not have a formula. Or any company's library for that matter. I do it quite often. The library may have a formula in their database and will fax it to your jobber. $2K for paint and materials is normal. Some bike paint tri-stages are $2K per gallon just for the basecoat.

Just wanted to say, Thank you again to everyone for all your help & suggestions on my Butternut dilemma. I ended up going with Martin Senour and was able to buy it locally. Finally got out there today and shot the back half of the car and hope to do the rest in the coming weeks. most likely try & shoot the tail pan & rocker Black out this coming week.
