Change in AACA General Policy in Judging Guidelines
« on: April 21, 2013, 10:54:57 PM »
III. GENERAL POLICY
The objective of AACA judging is to evaluate an antique vehicle, which has been restored to the same state as the dealer could have prepared the vehicle for delivery to the customer. This includes any feature, option or accessory shown in the original factory catalog, parts book, sales literature, or company directives for the model year of the vehicle.

Never thought I'd see this happen, but here it is.  AACA is now open to dealer options, including those that would only be provided by the dealers.  Does not do away with "like it came from the factory", but it does open up the dealer options.

Also, for those of you that weren't happy without a muscle car class for Chevies (besides Corvettes) at AACA National meets, class 36B, Hi-Po Chevrolets, was well represented at Charlotte.

HERE
Don't confuse the car corral pics with those from the meet...
Yep, one of the cars in the class had cross-ram.  There was also a Berger car.
BTW, I didn't make the pics of the Camaros in the meet, so not much detail. Sorry....
