Smokey Yunick

kgu:
With reference to post #133: This could very well be the the car that ended up at Todco since it has a 1967 photo date and the front clip had a 1967 grill. I sure wish I could take a step back in time.

I Just came across this image, looks to be the two Yunick Camaros, caption said Wendover Utah. Didn't he have one car with a big

block and another with a small block to go for different records at Bonneville ?

I know this has probably been discussed here before, the Edelbrock car is still around, what about the second one ?

Also found this image, caption said Sebring '68, the car had #18 in other photos I saw from that race.

I had not seen the gas station photo before so many thanks for posting it.  Off the top of my head I thought I heard that there were three Smokey Camaros at Bonneville in '68.

crossboss:
I can only imagine what the owner of that Wendover small town garage was thinking having Smokey arrive with his cars! Amazing pictures, and thanks for posting.
