Does anyone have a pic of an original 1969 a.i.r. deep groove pump pulley or of a website that might have one.

That's a true OE '458' pulley.

Be aware that sometime later in service and production GMPD changed to a painted pulley with an ink-stamped part number. It was serviced that way for years so do not assume NOS is the same as OE.
Learning more and more about less and less...

I'm looking at a 458 pulley but the seller said it has F stamped into it, the one pictured has P stamped into it . Not sure if it's correct.

The one in the ad has a "F" stamped on the left side and a "P" on the right side, which is correct.

As William said above, if it has ink stamped numbers and letters it is an NOS pulley.....not an original factory pulley.  Be sure to verify that with the seller.

This one also appears to have an F but not a P as is definately real    I just sold one that appeared like this one to have only an F ,but it had a P after being blasted maybe a run of faint stamps?? ...There is also a simpler way to distinguish originality besides  letters

Here is a picture of my 458DA smog pulley.  My smog system was missing when I purchased my 69' Z28, but fortunately I found a very nice complete survivor system with dated holes clamps and the crossover hose.

I hope these pictures helps and good luck with your project!

427-King,

Sorry for the late response but work and other commitments have kept me quite busy lately.

When I restored my car during 1995 - 2000, I used a company named ASL to restore a number of my brake components.  They had a number of smog systems for sale.  When it came time to invest in a smog system, ASL was out of business.  I called Rick George who operated Rick's 1st Gen Camaro Parts and he gave the name of the guy who restored smog systems for ASL and his business.   I called and chatted with the guy and he happened to have a complete date code system correct for my car.  I guess it was my lucky day.

If your looking for a system,  inquire at the Camaro restoration supply companies.  I also have found Hemmings Motor News be a good source.

Dave
