markings on fender extensions
« on: October 08, 2012, 12:42:15 AM »
Trying this again, posting pictures seems to cause me problems

I found both of my fender extensions marked like this. Letters are upside down about 4 inches tall. anyone else seen this?

Bill both mine were marked like this. Mine were original too. What's your build date?

My 69 Butternut Yellow Norwood SS has similar markings on the fender extensions although the marks appear to be the number 3.

Tried to load a "427" in crayon from a Yenko but once again the pic won't fit on this site.

Charley,  download 'light image resizer'..  you can download it free for personal use.   It works great and lets you turn the reduction in file size you want.  The image size will not be affected, and the loss of image quality is not really noticeable on these forums (if you don't zoom in). :)

I thought they were there to indicate fender piercings.
I have seen many Z28 extensions with G, which coincidentally is the build sheet engine code for the Z28.
Have also seen RG on a Rally Sport Z28 and it was not Rally Green.

69Z28RS...I did download  'light image resizer' and now have pop ups coming up on every web page I visit. I uninstalled it and am now scanning my comp trying to get rid of whatever else came with it that did not uninstall. I did downsize my pic with Easy Thumbnails to 640x480 so it would post.
