It and the distributor are T'd to the baseplate under the front fuel bowl. The T is not really a T it has 2 legs off of the same side and the hose that goes to the baseplate is hidden as it is running parallel to the hose going to the dashpot.
If you see in the picture, the 480 is not even in the car, there is an old cast iron distributor that I welded a stud to the shaft in order to spin oil pumps to prime the engine.
