Painting, soda blast first ?

I'm doing a nut and bolt restoration on my Z/28 and now I'm at the point of painting.
Is soda blasting the paint off to bare metal best.

Soda blasting is a very good approach but remember that it will not remove any rust on the car. You will need something more aggressive for the rust. Soda blast the car and then evaluate it from there.

i here there are paint concerns with soda, try media blasting with plastic media i am sure someone in your area does this.
