No way back from forum to home page
« on: September 21, 2015, 02:50:01 PM »
I think the CRG logo at top left should link back to the home page, otherwise if you come directly via bookmark to the forum, there's no way to escape from the forum to the home page other than by editing the url back to .org, or have I missed something?
No big, just a thought.  :)

I think the better option is to have the CRG  icon up above the "home" & username should take you back to the CRG main page.

Either way, there should be some way to get to home. Pretty sure the CRG logo did that on the old version.

I think they said they are working on this and other issues, at the time. I think the main priority was just to make sure the site was functional, and didn't have any glitches that would require the site to be down to make a fix.

Yes Kurt made mention of this change to us when the new format was loaded.

I had it setup that way in the old forum.
With the new forum, I cannot find the code to change it. Doug said he'd handle, but he's busy and hasn't.
I'll investigate another way.

wtg. I know this will make it easier for all of us and especially the new members who may not come directly through the home page or know what we are referring to, when talking a about a feature car, or cars of the month.
