Thanks for the insults Niblet. Since I never heard back from you on the 67 hood I drug out of storage and took pictures of that you were interested in buying I finally put it back away. After the insult I'm really sorry I wasted my time. I learned alot from your post.

Well, it seems a couple of guys here got butthurt with me and banned me from the "good 'ole boys club"
I was talking about,,,,thanks for proving me right Chuck!

Sorry, I don't keep up with email and 'every day the paperboy brings more'.
It's clearly not prejudiced in any form.  Guess you haven't noticed how much information on non-hipo Camaros is on the site, be it L6, L30, foreign, etc.

Key question about your belts - is there a center belt set? No center seat belts in this car

Scot, if you hover your cursor over the 67 pics, your photo credit is listed. :)

Heres the belts, note there is no cover for the retractor
11/5/66 build

In the seat belt section of this forum it is said:
"You can help with our research. Please contact us if:
you have rear shoulder belts in your first generation Camaro or shoulder belts in a convertible.
you have a 67 Camaro with 3 sets of rear seatbelts.
you have a 67 or 68 Camaro with a bench seat and its original seat belts.

I Have one and have attempted to contact several of the contributors of this site
is this research project still ongoing? getting tired of the "cold shoulder"
maybe if I owned a Z28 or super car it would be different, but alas I'm only able to afford a one owner survivor, I take consolation in the fact at least its an SS
funny thing about them Borg Warner HD 3 Speed trannys, only about 600 were installed in camaros that I can tell and yet no one wants to learn about them,
or never shows any interest when its posted,,,,just food for thought

technically that would make them as rare as a Z28 in '67....

You asked for pics to show on you ship. I got the hood down and sent pics and that was the last I heard from you.. total waste of my time but no big deal for you. You have never been to MCACN but feel like you need to trash the people that go thru the time and expense to share their cars. As a owner of MCACN and a participant I can assure you that you have insulted many. MCACN is probably not the place for you.

I did ask for pics to put in the add, howevert there was no way I was going to purchase an item like that without seeing pics before the money was spent anyway so its a moot point
why the pics were requested. I initially was thinking about doin the Uship thing, got busy at work and the idea lost traction.
I just don't have time to mess with it. I probably would have had 1400 dollars into that thing by the time I paid for crating and shipping
so I apologize for wasting your time to dig it out

Insults? hows my opinion about MACAN insult you?
how is it a guy can wear a CRG t shirt and not one person ask him about it?
anyway...it doesnt matter....about the hood
As a buyer I dont have time to fool around with Uship or other such nonsense for a part that I dont need, but wouldnt mind having. As a buyer I pay money and the item arrives at my door. I f you would have had the inclination to ship it
and give me a reasonable total all inclusive,,maybe we could have completed the deal. I dont arrange shipping for my purchases,,Thats part of the sellers duties

Was planning on going. Had a room and a flight. Unfortunately I was badly hurt on a job on Sept. 25th and am now in a wheelchair. SOOOO frustrating to be confined now for 46 days, with many more ahead.  :'(
Funny when I was there I wore my CRG T-Shirt the entire weekend and not one person came up to me... Danny

This doesn't surprise me, I can see the same happening to myself,,,I attribute it to not being one of the "good 'ole boys" with a super fat wallet,
I have been to trade shows in other hobbies and its the same,,you can be a top tier collector and know more than the average joe, but unless you flap your gums and have a lot of cash
no one seems to notice you

What I see in the pics of MCACN are a bunch of wealthy guys and their toys, "look at me" "I'm a millionaire and can afford this ultra rare COPO or Nicky Camaro"
and they set up a little lawn chair and hang out. I imagine more than half of them have never turned a wrench on their own car....

Show me a guy who RESEARCHED, BUILT, and MAINTAINS said car, then we can talk.
This is just my observation.....maybe when I attend it will be different

I would like to know several things,
1> what is the correct P/N for a 67 Camaro smog pump for V-8?
I have read the article here on CRG and they DO NOT mention a smog pump part mumber just discuss the date code
the number off of my 1 owner ss350 is 5696856 this is the number stamped on the case (not on the date pad)
I also have a smog pump from a 67 camaro that the case has 5696211 stamped on it,,,,

I am unable to find any info about the case numbers or what/where is the P/N??
Thanks in advance

I have searched this forum for 45 mins now,,,no one has asked this question is seems
my parts catalog dated July 68 N0. 681A has no smog info in it
