Most likely a true statement there. Be nice to get it located in the correct spot.

Does anyone know if either of the attached emblems would be the correct emblem for 1969?

I believe so.  Had been for sale in Louisville, KY area for about 2 years.

I’ve experienced this same issue. The solution became taking  the head off and heating it up with a torch. It finally got hot enough to come loose.

Does anyone know much about or have any information on Quality Chevrolet Wichita, KS?  One of my cars was originally shipped there per the NCRS report.  I haven't been able to find much information other than it became Davis-Moore Chevrolet in the late 90's.

Probably be the weekend before I get any photos.

Ran in stock classes. No cage or anything. Never cut up. Tunnel and fenders never messed with. Dash and interior is mint. Wood wheel and dash trim.

Paint is good.. By no means is it perfect or close to a restored car, but it wouldn't get painted.

No rust.  Super solid.

It was a drag car.  Everything other than the engine and the Muncie shifter is there.  Has a 69 Hurst shifter.  Original exhaust is now back on the car.
Spoiler was added. My time was limited yesterday so no photos yet.  Even has an original cowl plenum air cleaner.

I'm curious to get some advice on value. Have ran across a 68Z28.
The car is still owned by the original owner. He still has all the docs. Window sticker etc.
The born with transmission and axle/housing are still there. The original MO engine is long gone. The car has a DZ engine currently.

15,000 original miles and British Green mostly original paint. Original interior as well is mint. It was a race car and parked in the 70's. Solid original car, but just curious as to what you all think on value with matching number engine gone.

Yes, I can email the POP.

Also have the bill of sale from the original dealership in MO and where the buyer traded in two other cars.

That would eliminate the Canada scenario.

I'm going to say the owner removed the headrests as I was told, but no clue on the Z before trim code.

Attached is a better shot that shows the Z715 in regards to interior.

At some point this weekend I'll crawl under it and see if all the drivetrain is actually numbers matching.

I'll get a better picture of the trim tag.
