  2 cars that have a serial number only 8 digits apart coming down the Norwood assembly line.  How far apart are we talking.  Hours?  Days?

I'm attempting to do pictures, not sure if this will work.

Anyone recognize where this may have been sold and/or the manufacture?
I tend to think it's an old Wolverine grind but can't remember.   I was thinking about using it in the build but without a cam card with specific valve events on this particular grind I can't degree it.  Makes me want to shelf it and buy another one.

General Discussion / Black headliner and sail panels??

Finally getting around to this car.  It's a factory white deluxe houndstooth interior.   The headliner and sail panels as well as the A-pillar moldings are all black.  I'm 100% certain the interior is original and unrestored but the black headliner has me puzzled.   

Is this the way they came?

Garage Talk / Any sales this weekend??

I have a long list of about $2,000 worth of nickel and dime stuff I need to order.  Was wondering if there are any cyber sales I might be missing that you guys may know about.  It's going to pay for me to shop around a bit.  Right now Heartbeat has slightly better prices on a few things, while NPD and Ricks have better prices on some other things.
   Where else does everyone do their shopping?

General Discussion / adjustable fuel gauge module?

Could someone be kind enough to tell me where they are finding those adjustable fuel gauge modules for the console gauge cars, as well as the harness for it?   I'm speaking of the module that illuminates the low fuel warning light, that you can adjust for the amount of fuel left. 

I don't see it listed at the normal Camaro parts houses.

Was there an engine dressup on this model (ie: chrome valve covers and/or lid) ??   Or were all these models painted covers and air cleaners?  Possibly a mid production change?

I'm told the earliest known cowl hood used in production is roughly the last week of Dec 68 for the Norwood assembly plant.

I haven't heard anything about Van Nuys.   Was there a timeline there as well??

General Discussion / Production numbers on RS Z28's?

Or a percentage of total Z28 production might be an easier number to throw out possibly?  I'm thinking the percentage is much larger than a friend of mine is telling me.

Are those numbers posted on the site somewhere?  I'm sure this has been discussed in detail at some point.  If so I'm sorry if I'm wasting someones time, just point me in the right direction please.
