"How many L30/M20s were built? While Chevrolet recorded how many of each individual option was built, there is no traceable record of how many option combinations like the L30/M20 were sold:"

1968 L30/M20 Production: 9, 133 units.

General Discussion / Re: 1969 M22 breakdown of Quantities
« on: January 15, 2017, 12:01:34 AM »
For 1969 through the end of September the M22 application totaled: 2044 units, there were 837 M22's installed in L78's and 1207 installed in Z28's. I'm sure using extrapolation we can estimate the ratio of the remaining: 73 units.

Read through this thread, it's the same as the 1966 Full Size console multiplex decal:

Is actually a trapezoidal not rectangular.

Thank you, did try the usual places and databases, still no luck. Also info was sent to NCRS and they had nothing.

Trying to identify the Dealer with zone 41 dealer code 912. Looks to be around the Witchita, KS area. It's not Yingling or Quality but likely begins with a "V" or "W".

Thanks,
Paul

Originality / LM1, G31
« on: December 03, 2016, 02:19:12 PM »
Reading about the LM1 motor, states that the LM1 included multi-leaf springs. Are these the same as the G31 springs or could you order G31 on top of LM1.
Usually on the option page it would list inclusions and exclusions for certain options and I don't see an exclusion next to G31 of the LM1.
Secondly, if the LM1 did include G31 does it also include V32 rear bumper guards that were included with the G31 option?

Thanks,
Paul

From the link Kurt posted, this is an excerpt: "On the window sticker and on broadcast copy sheets, "1001AA" and "1001HA" have been observed as designating special paint cars. Note that all cars were painted, no Camaros were shipped from the assembly plant in primer".
In my documents under exterior paint codes, I have a line item that states: "Special and Prime" with production numbers as a total for both, so not so sure NO cars came from the factory, primed. Again just going by what GM docs state.
Same line item description for 1967, 1968 and 1969.

Don't have any copies of paperwork just have 2 separate listings for them at the correct address and the zone and code you already have.

That is true, anyone can add information but they also have a factual database they can look through and see that it could not possible be Kansas City, MO. I'll take a look to see if I have any documents reflecting your dealer.

It is pretty scary that they can have information so far off like this. If you go to the NCRS data base on line and plug in Kansas City, MO is comes up with zones: 3, 5, 48 and 13.
If you do the same for Benton Harbor, MI it results in 3 listings and they are all Ned Gates at zone 44 and 45. How in the world can they have National Car rental in Kansas City or any other result in Kansas City for zone: 45?????
