This PDF was published on a corvette site and the author stated he approved posting it to any other forum. I would download it a.s.a.p.
Supposed to be the bible of Chevrolet engines.

Originality / Dealer Help:
« on: February 15, 2018, 05:57:16 PM »

All: I am usually on the other end of these posts trying to assist members with dealer info. Can anyone help identify Dealer for zone 44 Dealer code 160? Later on in 1983 this code belonged to Gordon Chevrolet. I need to find out what dealer had this code during the 60's - early 70's? I'm sure it was also a Michigan Dealer. NCRS does not have the earlier info. Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

Decoding/Numbers / 1970 Camaro Body number VS. Ident number
« on: February 09, 2017, 03:48:11 AM »

In 1969 the trim tag body number on Norwood cars is the same as the Ident #. The ident # is the number that also appears on the top right hand corner of the window sticker and car shipper. Does anyone know if the body number and Ident # are the same in 1970 Camaro.

Thank you,
Paul

"How many L30/M20s were built? While Chevrolet recorded how many of each individual option was built, there is no traceable record of how many option combinations like the L30/M20 were sold:"

1968 L30/M20 Production: 9, 133 units.

Decoding/Numbers / Need help identifying dealer:
« on: December 20, 2016, 02:40:02 PM »
Trying to identify the Dealer with zone 41 dealer code 912. Looks to be around the Witchita, KS area. It's not Yingling or Quality but likely begins with a "V" or "W".

Thanks,
Paul

Originality / LM1, G31
« on: December 03, 2016, 02:19:12 PM »
Reading about the LM1 motor, states that the LM1 included multi-leaf springs. Are these the same as the G31 springs or could you order G31 on top of LM1.
Usually on the option page it would list inclusions and exclusions for certain options and I don't see an exclusion next to G31 of the LM1.
Secondly, if the LM1 did include G31 does it also include V32 rear bumper guards that were included with the G31 option?

Thanks,
Paul
