Thanks.  Made this purchase back in March (some of you may remember from an earlier post).  Finally getting time to go through it again and stumbled upon these screws holding the vin in and didnt think this looked right.  Not quite sure what happened here.

How was the vin tag attached to the dash from the factory?

Boy I'm a little behind on here.   Took a while reading through this thread with high hopes but I see I'm still one of the unlucky ones  on 578154

Ok here goes-my trade is construction-not mechanics-but know a little just to be dangerous so don't give me too much of a hard time.  Purchased a 69Z-has not been cranked in at least 12 years.  Changed plugs, wires, fluids.  Motor turns but not firing.  Pulled plug and watched as somebody turned motor and no spark on plug.  Changed coil.  No fire.  Next step I assume is inside distributor?  What direction do I take?   Thanks

General Discussion / Re: Another 1969 Z/28 "Barn Find"

is it unethical of me to ask everyones opinion on what you think this car is worth?   I realize the factor of "how bad somebody, really wants the car" determines it.    Just trying to get an idea and compare it to other "barn finds"

Yes will be in the market for a flat hood eventually, flappers-i knew there was something missing!  No signs of paperwork yet, havent been brave enough to look under the seats-had to remove several rat nests from areas-gonna get a vacuum to the interior tomorrow-been focused too much on the #s, but keeping my fingers crossed some goodies are locked in the trunk(no key for it)
