This was the seller's answer when the question about the report was posed.

"This vehicle has it’s complete matching numbers drive train including the engine, we have posted picture of the vin hidden down by the oil filter and you can read the numbers. I’m not sure about the wording on the report but this is the original engine."

Danny, can you share?  I had some concerns about the vagueness of Jerry's report.  Never said that the engine was original, just showed casting numbers.

Interesting that the phone number on the Numbers Match site appears to be the same as this business.

Just made a purchase of a 1969 Z28 RS that was disassembled back in the early 80's, body work completed, painted and wet sanded, but not buffed out or striped.  Completely original drivetrain, and original interior in pretty fair shape.  There are a number of parts missing (fan and clutch, driveshaft, valve covers, bumpers, to name a few), but most of the important stuff is there (matching block that is completely disassembled as well, trans, rear, and matching hidden VINs).  Just starting to categorize and clean what I have.  Car spent most of it's life in Ohio and came with Protect-O-Plate, and original owner lease agreement and some other paperwork.  Hugger Orange with black vinyl top and black standard interior.  Looking forward to help from the great sources of knowledge on this site.

Bill, you never disappoint. It is a Norwood car.  Thanks very much for the reply.

Decoding/Numbers / Build Dates
« on: April 05, 2021, 03:09:36 PM »
Gentlemen,
Could a 1969 Z28 with a third week of January build date have an engine date of 1/16, or are those numbers too close together?  Date on rear is 1/17.

Thank you

Thank you sir.  Does that mean early build?  I'm used to X33, X77, D80 in that area

Can anyone tell me what the "K450" means on the bottom right of the trim tag on 124379L524035?

Listed on ebay and previously discussed here.
