OK, I understand  the  explanation . When I get the pic thing figured out ill post the  VIN  and cowl  tag . There is so much to learn from on this sight . I have been doing a lot of reading  and when I get to articles of particular interest i E Mail them to myself  and put them in a file.
I am doing a restoration of a 69  SS L 48  that was taken apart in 79 two owners ago  and everyone here has been a great help.
Is the file size restriction why I can't get a pic on my profile as well  ?

  Thanks Rich

Thank you all for your help. I tried cropping and loading from my I Pad in the test area but it comes back file size too large. The pics were also taken on the I Pad but I do not know how to restrict there size. I must say that I am surprised by the number of members that have more then one first gen Camaro.

Old thread I know but I am new here. This goes to  Williams  comment about the first  COPO  build date of the second week of January  and not  being a Yenko . I have a 69 Yenko with a  1 B build date verified by Vince. How do add pics, I'd be glad to show you.

Restoration / 69 turbo 350 trans fill tube
« on: March 13, 2014, 02:16:24 AM »
Hello everyone ,
I was wondering what the original finish is on the fill tube for the  350 turbo automatic for 1969? The after markets are black but I am trying to keep everything as original as possible. If it is black what would be the gloss?
Secondly would anyone have a decent fill tube for sale as mine is rather beat up.

 Thanks, Rich

Restoration / Removing the copper ferrules on the 69 parking lights
« on: February 16, 2014, 03:17:21 AM »
Hello all ,what a wonderful sight!!!  I want to replate the parking lights but would like to remove the copper ferrules to do so. They look like they are crimped in place with a small notch or tab. I have seen restoration pictures with them separated. I know I can get them apart but don't want to mess them up plus I have to get them back in correctly.
Are there replacement studs for this light housing, two of mine were broke
When this one was taken apart in 1979.
   Thank you, Rich
