Just trying to line up my castings dates of the diff to the build date of my car.

My car is an 07E car so wat should my diff cast date be approx.

Woops sorry. So would that be more for long distance high speeds/fuel economy or short distance speed

Hey fellas!

Having a 12 bolt diff with 3:73 ratio and multi leaf springs would that have been traditionly been specified for typically the more ppowerful cars? Or is this high ratio diff more specified for other needs

Thanks for verifying that, there's so much wrong information out there.

Hey guys

Just a query, is deluxe interior part of the RS package or can an rs come with standard interior.

Thanks

Im guessing by the condition its the original one, not sure what brand.  Yeah its the wheel arch in the trunk.

Hey fellas

Just about to change the wiring harness in my 68 and noticed that there is a socket on top of the wheel arch.  I'm assuming this is for
the under boot lighting if it was ordered or are the harnesses different for each?

Thanks
Matt
11  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Wiring lume for the trunk of a 68 rs on: April 02, 2014, 05:17:43 AM
Hey Chaps

The wiring lume looks a bit tattered so I want to change the section that feeds the rear of my car (ie.lights) but following
the lume thru the trunk into the cabin it doesn't join anywhere. Does this mean that I would have to replace
the complete wiring lume in the car from front to back

Hope not

Hey,

Thats so interesting to hear about stories of the era.  Only if we could go back in time and
get a brand new Camaro or hottie just how we wanted it and for the same price lol

Hey that silver tank looks great with those black straps

It breaks all the black up under the car
15  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: tank restoration on: March 25, 2014, 05:49:01 AM
Black, really.

On this particular car the previous owner went crazy with gloss black paint in a can
he didn't even mask anything up or even try and make it look neat.  He even tried to paint the engine bay with the can any got over-spray on top of the guard
and if wasn't over-spray it was coating the trunk floor with splatter paint again a hopeless attempt! Really people need a license to use these paints.

Sorry about that just aggravating to see bad workmanship. So black on my car is in the bad books for me at the mo.
