Just bought a 67 camaro with a 427. She runs pretty hot when idling. Live in Texas where it's pretty warm. I think the radiator is original. What are my options to keep her cool when idling?

About to purchase a 67 camaro with a 427 engine. Is 87 octane ok to use for cruising around town?

the rear end and trans are original. The new drive line is sized for V8 torque. Is ok to have an original manual trans and rear end for a 6 cyl matched up with a 350 engine? Like i said no drag racing but i might want to step on it every once in awhile.

Current owner hasn't done a lot. Power brakes, driveline, fuel pump and lines, and replaced shocks. Aside from those items I assume nothing major has been done. It currently has a Muncie 4 speed and I believe a 12 bolt rear end .

Just a follow up. I'm not looking to drag race or enter car shows. The seller is asking 20k for it. I just want to make sure this combination won't cause me a lot of problems down the road,

Looking to purchase a 67 camaro. The vin reflects the engine originally being a v6. The current owner selling has a 350 crate 4 barrel carb engine in it. This was the way he purchased.

Anything to worry about? Pretty novice when it comes to engines and gen 1 camaros.

Drove 6 hours and was disappointed about the car in my other post. Car was not as advertised. Didn't feel right.

The 67 with 427 just came about by chance by my uncle who works on dirt track race cars. One of the owners has the car and he's done playing with it. He has a very nice collection if you know what I mean. He doesn't have any docs but he's confident. Wasn't able to get a lot of pics. He's asking 38k see pics in next post

New to site and trying to be a gen 1 camaro owner.

Through an uncle there's a pretty reputable individual selling a 1967 camaro with a 427. He's claiming that's is 100% original except he rebuilt the 427 engine and new tuxedo black paint. He has no papers but says it was a dealers car. Anyway to find truth? Vin #124377N166208. I'm waiting for a picture of cal tag.

That thing does look like its been beat to death. Any tell tell signs to inspect to see if its been replaced?

Not that clarification is needed but when asking about price I want to assume the below.

I recognize the fact that its not numbers matching. Factoring in all the work that has been done to it( see earlier post) no visible rust or welding issues and that its not a lemon. Long story short the dealer is asking 32k for it. Am I crazy?
