i looked in Jerry`s 4th edition book and he has 2 RS z`s pictured and neither one has the RS emblem in the grill. not saying it`s wrong to have the emblem but looks like it was added IMO.

Restoration / carb linkage to carb hookup
« on: June 02, 2014, 10:47:12 PM »
i got my carb installed on my dz but was wondering what hole the linkage went through. i have never had the original carb on the car yet, just an out of the box 750cfm auto parts store carb. i searched  but could not find a good close up pic of the proper hole to locate it into. aslo wondering if the is a nylon washer and what goes into the linkage hole to hold the rod to the linkage. thanks in advance for any info. oh, will post some pics when it is done, had Jerry M restore it a few months back.

i wish i had some spare cash, would be nice to pull my numbers matching motor and put the one for sale in mine. save some miles on it and could have a lot more fun knowing i would`nt be hurting my numbers matching parts if anything were to happen

Chick, are the tags on the coil springs and rear leafs still intact ? mine had only one coil spring tag but was so badly deteriorated I couldn't read it and it was too far gone to even make out. What a nice find, would be a nice car for Jerry M to look at for posterity :)
