My question is, what is the correct length of 69 camaro mirrors? The one in my car with bad silvering is 12" and the repop is 10" which I do not like as it does not stay in a fixed position due to being made a C hair too thin. I can correct but I d rather have the original. The 12" is exact in every deatil too? Paragon only has 10"?

I am about ready to order the entire e-brake cable set as mine was all previuosly removed. Would you recommend the OE steel cables or the stainless? I do drive all my cars and never trailer so they will on occasion get wet but seldome.

Once I got the glass in and adjusted i looked at the Fisher book and figured the installation was just in the order of there assembly process it took me about 3 hrs per side of car to install everything. Its tight and I gather it will loosen up in the sun and after a bit of time. Dont know if it leakes or not as I wont try water until I finish the front cowl, windshield moldings and grill then the outside will be complete. Then Ill start the Ebrake assembly which is all missing. Tkx

I keep reading on other camaro sites that shorty headers will NOT fit a car like mine with non power steering and a 4 speed. But I see them for sale on ebay that say they will fit. I saw these on ebay but I never believe sales folks unless they used them personally! What do you reccomend?

One more thing, I currently have long tube headers on Dart heads about 375 HP. I wont be racing either. I just like the power, look and sound.

Mild Modifications / Side Exhaust on my 69

Back in 69 I bought my Hugger Orange Camaro new and I installed 67 Vette side exhaust.  Many yeras later I find out thats what Baldwin Motion did to some of its cars. Back then no one had pipe benders so I used sold flexable pipe and welded it all together, I want to do that now to my 350 Camaro.
1 question is can I install shorty headers on a non powere steering 4 speed car?
2nd is what size 2" or 2.5" exhaust
3rd anyone here ever done this before?

I want to paint my surround black like the grill even though the car is Hugger Orange so should i use a 1 stage flat black? I also want to paint the back around the tail lights since it was a once a big block SS. Your thoughts?

John I did read that but it does not say black plastic or painted? The egg crate section is black plastic but what about the surround around the entire section of grill and light housings? If painted black what type of paint a single stage? Tkx Jim
