Rick's, customer service turned it over to Tech Support. I'm past the return period. (30 days). So still wait and see.

Ricks...not to rant, was a great place when he actually got on the phone with me, talked me out of a repo locking gas cap, said it was junk...

They should at least give credit. Opinions vary, been happy with HBC, not the only one, but been great through my build,,order another one. I think Ecklers deducts/restock fee.

Try Camaro Specialties also,,nice to actually talk to owners in this day and age.

BTW, the AIM specs min distance from the belt. Dont know the UPC off hand, but you can now download it off of Heartbeat City, the aim. It should all look good, no kinks, and way more then the min spec.

Whooo.. just did mine week before last. Dont know where you got it from,,for the price send it back. Shouldnt have to do alot of surgery to get it right. Hugs the shroud nice, dont know how far off the alt belt you are, but by pics, looks like your going to be into the bend by the therm housing. Honestly, just some friendly advise. Cut it, you own it.

Before I opened the pic, was going to say trim, as I did mine. Yours, going to throw the angles off, shroud, etc..agree too long. Shoot a pic to the vendor, refund/replace. I had to take alittle off of both sides with mine, but came out nice and maintained stated min. distance to fanbelt. Lower was fine.

Try Long Island Corvette Supply if your coil is still on b/o.

For your own reference when placing your new decals.

Take a pic, and measure, reference points your old sticker.

Simply wonderful.

........I wouldn't have had to bug you with all those PM questions a few years ago, lol.

Enjoyed the pics.

X2 JM.

To your question: no access to a blaster, or don't feel like buying one, messy, but try Citrastrip. Think spellings right. Does a great job without the harshness of some of the other products. I'm also a steelwool fan,0000. Rattle canning, been happy with the Eastwood stuff, in that it gives a pretty decent spray pattern, lays nice. Good for a few small single items vs. Breaking the gun out. Use what's left on a few brackets.

Actually does look good underhood. Not the typical shoddy wiring mess, pitting. Taken care of. Probably some good products/tips out there to rid the overspray, if so inclined.
