I am not sure about the LA cars but the Norwood plant did. I have an early 10D 69 Z/28 and during inspection JM found a X7 crayon marking on the bulk head behind the rear seat. I assume that is what they used going down the line to let them know how and what to assemble.

I saw that earlier today on the front page of my internet news feed. Congratulations Jon! I assume that went all over the world :)

General Discussion / Re: Quality Chevrolet - Wichita, KS
« on: October 21, 2017, 07:18:01 AM »
I just remembered the most recent story of getting a KS DMV title history for a buddy of mine. He had done a lot for me on my 67 Chevelle SS convertible and I wanted to do him a favor. We knew his 69 RSSS big block car was purchased new here in the Wichita area. About two years ago I gave him a cool surprise by getting the DMV title history information on his car. We found that it was purchased new in the same small town outside of Wichita that he went to high school in. When he saw the original owners name he knew it rang a bell. It turns out that he had dated this fellas daughter while he was in high school.   ;)
His car has just recently completed a frame off restoration and at one of his first car shows he went to he connected with the original owner and got pictures. :)
So you just never know!

Does anyone know much about or have any information on Quality Chevrolet Wichita, KS?  One of my cars was originally shipped there per the NCRS report.  I haven't been able to find much information other than it became Davis-Moore Chevrolet in the late 90's.
My home town. It was in downtown Wichita, the building is still there but I haven't driven by in a while. Not sure it is even a used car dealership anymore. What questions do you have?
As far as I know Kansas still offers DMV records back to new, go to the KS DMV site and there should be a form you can send in and for a few bucks and you will receive all Kansas owners back to new as well as a copy of the original MSO.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

Thanks for the hard work to get us back up. My fingers would automatically start trying to check in every day. I had to slap my hand a few times and so no.  :o

Pics of my 07A original water pump pulley, I notice the font of the part # of the two originals match and have a flat top #3. The numbers of the repop are not the same. Could that have changed during the model year?

This may be the worse ad written.  Is it me  ??? or is the seller speaking in another language ?
Maybe Klingon?  lol

How are you doing Darrell, you make it through Irma ok? We were afraid there for a while that we were going to take a direct hit in Tampa. My 67 Chevelle is in the wife's garage there.  :o
