Over the years a part will be depleted (out of stock) but a functional equivalent part will still be available, looks the same but has a different part number, but not the original production part. HBC and others will sell you these and tell you that's what you need. If you know the part numbers and know the right things to ask, you will under stand what your getting for the money. If not buyer beware.

In 1969 I was 13 years old so buying a new camaro was out of the question, but in 1971 I met my sister's boyfriend. Rick he had and still has a 1966 427 425 hp corvette plus a 1955 chevy with tunnel ram intake. No one in my family was into cars, an my dad drove a Ford station wagon. Because of my soon to be brother in law sparked an interest in cool cars. I bought my first 1969  Camaro in 1977 and I still own it.

Jon, I don't know if this helps.... but In the book  The Great Camaro on page 70, Lamm's shows a picture of a 67 Z  yellow in color that was the first Z released to the press. Terry

Look at some of the other cars on this site for sale.... 67 chevelle SS 4 sp for 7,300. 69 camaro convertible SS with 47 k miles for 11,200. Somethings not right....
