What are the correct AC Delco numbers on an original factory line assembled 1969 Z28 PVC valve?

Thanks,

My 1969 Z28 built in Van Nuys with an 09D 1968 build date has an original radiator with an "H" date code along with the tag showing CB & IH.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Gary,

Thank you for positing the picture of the your quarter panel stampings. With the help of your pictures I have now found both of my quarter panel stamps.  Thanks again for posting your picture.

Sincerely,

yes on the front on the shifter.

Thank you. I can see what I believe is a "8". Are there any other numbers covered up? What are the other sheet metal date codes on your code for the hood and front fenders?

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for the reply. Would it be possible to post a picture of yours?  I am 99% sure mine are original and only what I believe is original paint covering that both corners and I cannot see any stamped numbers.

Thanks,
Mike

My 88D3 date coded shifter also has 3138 stamped on the front of the shifter body.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Where are they on the rear quarter panels?  I found the date code stamps on the front fenders and trunk lid but I cannot find where they are located on the rear quarter panels.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi,

Are there any numbers stamped in original 1969 quarter panels by the weather strip lip?

Hi,

Attached is a picture of my early 1969 Z28 shifter. Build  code 09D 1968 Van Nuys.  The shifter date code is 8 8 D3. The first "8" was stamped real lightly by the bolt.  The rest of the date code is real clear. After I resized the picture the first "8" got more faint.

Thanks,
Mike
