Here is his reply nine days later.....

Firewall pictures show no hole above fuse box for the ducted hood wiring. Accelerator lever is also for a non-ducted hood car.

Might be sold from Yenko, but not a 427 Camaro. So does this mean now that the car has been found, the VIN will be removed from the Yenko Camaro list?

I sent a message through eBay earlier today and haven't heard anything back.

This was my email message....

In your ad you say "for a correct restored alt"

Shouldn't it say for a correct restamped alt?

Just sayin'

Hey Tim, glad I could help out with the Cragars. Just checked on the package tracking and it shows it is in your country. That's going to be one nice Z/28 when finished.

Hey southernx201, you may want to contact Danzo as I believe he was checking out the same car. The rear in the car he was looking at is the same stamping. If it is still for sale, he must have passed on it and you can ask him why.

Here is the link that he inquired about it......

Doc,

I bought something off him back in May of 2015. Just checked my PayPal receipt and his email at that time was smithandfamily7@stny.rr.com

Hey Paul,

I wouldn't toss those shocks. Now that there are survivor classes for these Camaro's. There are plenty of Camaro's that could use them.

I believe rear shock 3192831 is for mono rear leaf springs. It takes a bolt an nut that goes through the bottom of shock to hold it in place.

Picture is too small for me to get any detail. When I enlarge picture it is grainy.

Brackets should be painted black.

The brackets are used on both sides with multi leaf on '68 and '69 Camaro's. In '69 the JL8 option uses one of that style.
