I was thinking that Mopar show on Motortrend they send all their bodies out & have them dipped..,
How bad is your body ? If it’s really rusty you may not get much back dipping it , I believe there was a place in Springfield Ohio that dips parts / bodies if I remember correctly it was $1,000 to do that

Decoding/Numbers / Re: Camshaft 3959180

Did you measure the lobes as far as lift ? On a side note back in the old days when you could buy an LS6 and LS7 crate engine over the counter ,did the LS6 come with the pancake intake , I think it was a 560 . Did the LS7 come with the 163 intake like a 396 375 would have had ?

Thanks

« on: July 14, 2017, 03:41:27 PM »
What is the temp of the new thermostat that was replaced ? What compression is the engine & what size is it ? Could it be the sending unit for the factory gauge , I had one bad once & thought it was overheating but it was just the sending unit ... it doesn't have a serpentine system on it does it ?

I think with the drum brakes will hold the car better when doing a burn out vs using manual stock disc brakes.
