Great, appreciate the help Mike!
I had some bits and pieces from a '70 Chevelle LS6, maybe that's where the 12" version came from.

Very impressive stats John, would have made for a fascinating plant tour back in the day.

Before buying, I'd suggest reading this thread over at Team Camaro regarding what HBC sent one owner for his '68:

Sorry, typo in the above. Paul's thread was about a 67, not a 68.

Originality / Firewall Wiring Gutter

What was the length of the original plastic wiring gutter that attaches to the firewall? I have 2, not sure which (or even if either) is correct for an 04A of 1969 Coupe. One measures 12", the other is just over 13" (both are slightly bowed, hence the approximate measurement). They have the correct end profile, so confident both are GM.

After the movie became popular, a number of people offered a body styling kit to transform a standard coupe into a 'lookalike' but as far as I know (being a GM guy!) it wasn't available from the factory.

Darrell it does look similar to the Falcon XB in Mad Max( or the Road Warrior), except for the fact that the XB came out pretty much stock like that, it had to have taken a lot of time and money to get that 67 to loo that way, I would think.
Our Aussie XB Coupe was a pretty cool car (for a blue oval product) but took a lot of modifications, some subtle and some not, to make the Mad Max car. The nose of the movie car reminds me of a Monza for some reason......
Here's a stock-ish GT351, I believe that quite a few have been brought over there by US fans:

Gary, very early days but from the data so far, the NOR cars have trapezoidal masts with date stamped rivets, and the LA cars have square masts with the date stamp on the mast itself. Very interested to see if this is backed up by other owners, but we need many many more contributors.
