Interesting, I think mine sits a little lower?
Should be centered vertically on the grille as shown above, at least every original car I've looked at has the emblem placed like that.

I learned a long time ago to always clarify your requirements and expectations with the owner of the business up front.
I have a set I'd gladly gift you, but shipping back to the US would be prohibitively expensive.

Never had a Sag 3-speed myself, but as far as I know, in that 1969 era the input shaft would have been a coarse spline as you suggested. Hopefully someone familiar with the M15 can confirm, but a trans shop (or an online vendor's site like Summit or JEGS with an application selection tool) should be able to confirm?

As far as the clutch diameter goes, do you know what size flywheel your engine has, as you'll need to make sure the new clutch matches. In addition, the flywheel may well need to be surfaced, so personally I'd pull the trans to check all the details and condition before ordering new parts. Means more down time, but at least you'll know exactly what you need and won't waste time and money chasing parts.

So you're going to screw it through the door panel; Is it the original?

Tim got any idea's on what it would cost for shipping to N. W. U.S.?
Sorry, no I don't. For years I have been buying parts out of the US, but have sent very few the other direction. Probably worth sending the seller a message via eBay, as he could look into it for you, with the known weight and crate size.
EDIT: I had a look at any eBay sellers offering to ship a Muncie over here, and it looks like US$700-800. I'm sure it could be done cheaper than that by shopping around freight companies rather than post/UPS, but with the seller's starting price already over US$2,000 (due to current exchange rate), it'd probably only be worth considering if this was undoubtedly the trans that your car left the factory with.
