Originality / Re: 1967 L78 Window Sticker Analysis

Redlines were an option, iir? Standard tires would not showed up as an option if standard. Same with radio. If it had one, it would be on option list. no option=no radio

Not even close. There are many variations in both configurations.

From ad: “With a restoration this detailed, the engine bay looks award-worthy, too. When you want a big muscle machine, there's no substitute for big block power. More than just filling the engine bay with the massive V8, this one really gets the details correct,…”
Not to pick this thing apart, but too bad they couldn’t have had a fella, like me, that know these cars,  been consulted to fix all the common , but egregious,  resto deficiencies ? The seller rating is all you need to know to see that a night in Vegas is probably a better bet on getting a reputable represented car.

General Discussion / Re: Starter Won't Stop.

You didn’t mention what year you are working on. I ask, because I had this happen on a 67 Chevelle I had. Still had same problem after changing starters, twice! Turned out it was ignition switch. Same switch used on 67 & 8 Camaros, I believe?  There is your hint for the day.

Restoration / Re: Harrison radiator restoration

Maybe a second try to all 3? I had a place I left a message and frustrated they did not return my call. I, finally tried again and they said my message was garbled and they could not understand the number given. Just a thought? Some of those guys close for a month at a time for setup at a swap or going to a car show.

You can look it up in the AIM spring chart. Part numbers and codes are listed there.
Not what OP is asking. He is well aware of that chart he tells me

Garage Talk / MCACN & Kurt

You ever have a person you look so forward to seeing? They don’t have to do any one thing for you. They don’t give you money, lavish you with praise. Nor are they a celebrity type or a “kiss my ring” type. You just like them. You like them for their unique, great qualities. Well, that is Kurt Sonen. I was so glad to see Kurt at MCACN. We spent time sharing the Camaro gospel and he even showed me how to spot a fake… something( I’m sworn to secrecy), lol! I’m privileged to call him friend and look so forward to another event where we can catch up. Was that barn find Yenko nuts are what? Loved it!!

Restoration / Re: Harrison radiator restoration

A place, near me, in Southern Ohio does quality restoration work. This guy has done some very expensive radiators for Pebble Beach Concours, high end, rich guy stuff. He is a true car enthusiast, owns classic cars of his own and knows GM muscle. He advertises in Hemmings (or did). His name is Steve Powell , Powell Radiator, Wilmington, Ohio

Would that not be early November ‘69, not December, GW?

General Discussion / Re: 1969 Van Nuys built z28

I may stand corrected. But the trim tag date is when the car was started in production and not when it ended ( rolled out the door). The engine is very tight on time, but possible, I think?
