Too bad you screwed up the Muncie bellcrank. Goes for over $100 new repop. I’d have given you 10 of the correct bellcranks for that one and $75.

…look closely at the painted hockey stripe, it will have these little tick marks from the stencil ever 1-2"s, not easy to spot.
Wish I knew or could see what you are describing. Early b&w pic of D90 and my original paint D90

Thank you...I'll now fabricate rod. I think (have to go to my AM to be sure) the bell crank and upper rod carry the same part #.

Again, thank you.

paul
I can tell you for a fact that the bellcrank for that Saginaw is different than a Muncie. I do believe the Saginaw and TH350 & PG share the same one.

I’ll consider a possible parting with this part.
BTW- there are 2 on eBay right now.

Could be that the paint shop who did the job omitted painting the back panel semi-flat for BB's and the owner took it on his own to do it right?
Except, the consensus believes gloss black is correct for tail panel on bb cars. So owner did not do it “right”, according to the accepted standard.

The block is a 68 3956618. Does that mean it was or is a 327?
Not necessarily. Just means it was a 4.0” bore block. Could be 350

If it is seized because of rust, that may not hurt the value too much, will probably still need bored regardless. If it is seized because the block is cracked from freezing or something else, it could very expensive to fix, if it can be? Years ago, a buddy bought a 427 block at an auction. It looked good. After together and in the car, he started getting water in oil. It had a crack looking from underside, up in cam galley area. Maybe worth fixing today, but he junked it.

Out of an Impala, with 186 heads!

Not that important to note, but I stand corrected. My heads were 186s , as well. Not 041

And I have a 69 L48 block with 2-bolt mains. I was surprised....
Kurt, is that a Camaro L48? I have read about, and personally owned a 2 bolt main L48. The 2 bolt variety of L48 came in full size Chevys. In my case, I pulled the engine out of an Impala. Heads were 041. Everything exact to my Camaro’s L48, except 2 bolt main.
