32  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: car that lost its barn! on: December 05, 2014, 02:14:10 PM
Same house but moved about 200 feet. My dad knows him and he owns it with another guy who won't sell it. I need to stop and visit and see if I can get better pics. The barn burnt like 15 years ago and I looked at it when it was sitting at a neighbors. No motor I don't remember any interior being in it but if it was is no account now. He told dad the motor is in the trunk but there is no trunk.. my dad won't admit it but his hearing isn't great either. It am pretty sure its a 66

I was working ground last night and there's a portable looking shed where corvette was. Well today its obvious car is not in shed. I think the guy is retired and might be there so that's the best you get! The 50s truck has moved but still outside. Place is a diaster

Thanks Danny. I will check my booster hose bracket too.
36  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / plug wire heat shields on 69 on: November 29, 2014, 02:41:14 PM
These are stamped AAc on bracket and shield. I thought they were originals and look to have soot under the bracket. Does anyone have a set with this stamp?

Thanks Darrell. Wonder if repop manifolds are straight lol
38  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / no exhaust gaskets? on: November 29, 2014, 08:23:29 AM
In the process of finishing my motor and never realized the factory didn't use exhaust gaskets. Any problems with this and do you use any kind of sealant?

Wonder if Jerry is working the sale? Might put an end to it
40  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Friend wondering where his old 69 z went. Central ohio fiber optics on: November 21, 2014, 09:18:41 PM
Friend of mine was curious if his old z is known. He didn't think he could come up with a VIN. It did have some odd stuff. Fathom green Z with a early 68 spoiler. Car had an endura bumper and fiber optics. It was reprinted white and flat black stripes. I think he had it in the mid 70s and was in columbus ohio. Might have had deluxe interior too. Was numbers matching at the time. I  thought with the options maybe someone had heard of it

I have the other side if you need it. Bolt had a lock tight material
45  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Shippers/haulers (from MI to FL preferred) on: October 18, 2014, 05:51:19 PM
If this ever comes up these guys haul mi/oh to Florida. The are based in Florida. Nice semi/ enclosed trailer like the big boys. He hauled for us before but my dads 57 Ford retractable came home this year with buckled quarters and the continental kit fell apart.  We found it after the guy left when the passenger door wouldn't open. Figured the bolts just loosened up on continental.  Not so. They are minuteman out of I think Avondale. They wouldn't do anything but knew something happened.
