Hi Gary
My z has a 202 coil. No idea why it would have been changed with its miles. What is it off?

Any dryer sheets better than others? In the car, under it and engine compartment? I have used moth balls under but hate the smell!

My car had the 140 cam since about 1970, guy installed it and springs with aluminum retainers. Retainers were prone to cracking so its a wonder I have original engine. My car had 4.88s but just took them out. Not much fun on freeway. Mine likes 1000 also. I would think your compression would be a big help.
Hakan, Anymore they have decided that nasty idle isn't needed to make horsepower. I had a 383 built with dart products parts and it has a somewhat small roller in it. My 472 hemi has a small roller in it and its making right at 600 horse at 6000 rpm. Just over 10:1 in pump gas. It idles about 900 and is very calm. I have a dyno and exhaust sound video on You tube under bill foos if you want to hear it. Rollers are great with the oil we have now too

Mine is upside down and I didn't see it until I took car apart. Not someplace I would look for anything

I used the same one with brackets and both seta of tires. Could take a john Deere gator and pull around the driveway. Worked fine.

I used soda in a portable blaster and it worked fine. Make sure you have a good water filter. It doesn't get into metal and leaves a nice surface. When soda hits something, it turns to fine dust and blows away.I didn't clean mine until I was ready to paint. I sprayed acetone until it was running down firewall. Cleaned it off good.

I thought I saw a car on here once where you could see the color name. Under the mar on mine is 21. You can see it. Don't remember if there was an m. I think there was.
I think it would be unlikely anything should be visible unless the grease was so heavy the paint fell off. The mar on my car does look different than the other marks.
I don't know on the plate bracket. Did I show you where gm is wrote on my fender extensions? It and firewall writing is very fancy!
