2  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Place to rebuild fuel pump on: May 04, 2015, 07:35:43 PM
I read yesterday on camaro central website that they had a new repop fuel pump that now has the correct logo. But they were out! I had one that was supposed to be rebuilt but it was the wrong logo. I sent it back and here all 6 of the rebuilt pumps they had were stamped with the same date....
It was not from camaro central

4  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Original Goodyear wide tread question on: April 22, 2015, 08:15:54 AM
I tried to buy a 1968 dated wide tread last night off eBay. It was nos but on a mustang rim. The rim may have been for a 68 Shelby . Little confusion on the rim size. Anyway, what concerned me from bidding anymore was the stamp saying vytacord on the sidewall. Does anyone have an original tire that could see what cord it has? I was thinking it should say nylon?
5  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Who do YOU use for repop interior/body parts? on: April 21, 2015, 07:53:30 AM
I have gotten a few parts from tamraz. I won't buy from HBC after the "rebuilt" fuel pump they sent was a reproduction. They seem to be higher than others too. Their sales seem better but just gets the price down to other dealers. I have used camaro central also

8  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: First 2015 COPO Camaro being auctioned on: April 15, 2015, 01:10:00 PM
I checked and seen a copo run 8.88. I would guess they run more of a super stock class than the older camaro pictured

They have built them a couple years and seems like the used ones for sale are 100-120,000. A lot for just a race car. Wonder how they compare with a hellcat

11  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / rebody Z made Hot Rod on: April 11, 2015, 09:01:49 AM
Hot Rod had a write up on Barrett Jackson and listed some cars that sold. The green Pratt Z is in there and says an already nice car brought back. A forensic document examiner was used to confirm the Z28s paper trail. Writer must not understand Jerrys comments. Page 58 if you want to look. Just got it yesterday

I have seen his cars on eBay also and always wondered why they look good but engines setting in car and not finished. If I remeber right he's in NE corner of state.  Snow belt?? I try not to go that far north!
Nice 70!

I believe I sent a message once or even twice with no reply. I didn't buy anything and I can't remember what it was now.
