« on: February 22, 2014, 11:25:37 PM »
Looked at an x33 that a friend is working on and wanted to share. Car is a 12B with x code.  Found this behind seat. Car has been off road for years. Has CEA block header/side pipes, 4,88 gears. Painted pearl white with green stripes. Fathom with green interior. Interesting car

Does the rem oil dry or become a dust magnet? I coated my hood hinges with something with lanolin in it and not sure it will dry

I am not sure which dealer that is Janobyte. Maxton sells some and Jeff Wyler took over McDormans.
I get my trucks out of the dealer that used to be Frosts that sold some COPO Camaros. The salesman started working there in 67 and he remembers the cars around. I think he was in high school. They move a lot of trucks. I have been trading every year with him and with the discount/rebates and my gm card, the last 2 years I have traded for less than 2000 plus some tax. He has plaques in his office as the top zone salesman in the last 5 years. They just opened a new office and getting ready to tare down the old building. I had a service area for like 4 cars if you parked just right.

I was at my dealer today and he didn't have his info handy but thought he just sold a base vette in the high 50s and he said the z06 were in the upper 80s.  Not sure the z06 is the new one if it went up any. He thought they would probably get a z. Would be a fun car if someone else paid for it!

Anyone ever taken a brake booster apart? Didn't find anything with a search. Thought I better ask before I destroy something! Any tricks to it?

General Discussion / Re: 69 Camaro Suspension Question
« on: December 21, 2013, 12:00:04 AM »
On rear it depends if you want exact look or not. I used a set of correct looking ones from Camaro specialties. For the front look up pozzi racings site or there should be discussion on here about them. I used the Moog 6308. There is one slightly stiffer for a z that might be better on an rs car. Z sits a little lower than a small block car so make sure you get the right ones. I learned after ordering the small block springs from hbc after they said that's what everyone uses. Car looked like motor was out

I think the car was in a storage unit where the owner died. No one claimed the stuff and it golf sold. Had an average paint job but great body. It had wheels, no engine transmission or interior. It did have Florida plates in the trunk but no idea how it got to Ohio. Probably shouldhave bought it and then figured it out.
