The block is a 68 3956618. Does that mean it was or is a 327?

Looks like tag and vin was off. Firewall may have been rusty by the look of the tag. Seller not much help and surprised no one mentioned issues yet

I compared the quanta small block no ac manual transmission to the z.  Figured if there was a difference it must be for deep pulleys.  Will do some more checking

I have a friend working on a 69Z and some reason it has non deep groove pulley, at least on the crank and if I remember right, had newer alternator.  He was asking me, if the Z motor takes a different belt for the deep groove pulleys or it just sits down deeper?  Quanta lists the z belt as a different part number than the small block non ac belt. 
We were wonder if the Z belt is wider?

My DZ looked like it had OK on the drivers side of the block there.  In one book I had it showed blocks before paint with codes wrote on the side.  I cant think which book it was. Maybe how to hot rod your small block chevy

Could spoilers be deleted after D80 started showing up on the tag?  Seen a car on bringatrailer that looks to be a 08 tag and X33 but no D80.
