1  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Original dealer info for 1st gens is available on: July 15, 2014, 06:34:23 PM
We are missing the following data:
1969 Camaro 9N508855 to 9N587275

I guess this means they do not have mine 9N547348?
2  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: My 69 SS/RS Project started on: March 26, 2014, 06:50:55 PM
Tail light lenses are not RS and I do not see the cut outs for the back up lights in the rear pan so I don't think it is an RS either.

That looks like a fun project. Good luck and we all hope see pictures of your progress. Mine is also a 11C car and built only about 3700 after yours according to the vin #.
Red with White stripes is a great color combination. Have fun with your car.

I will try and get the information from mine when I get at chance. It is an original L34.

Well since no one else asked, did you take the pics? If so, how did you get in?
7  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: New Z28 Pricing.... $75K??? on: January 05, 2014, 06:39:27 PM
At that price point I would rather own a 427 Convertible corvette.
8  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Mild Modifications / Re: How to make chrome parts looked brushed? on: January 04, 2014, 11:39:15 AM
A previous post suggested a wire wheel so I would try that on a scrap piece or with steel wool or emery cloth first and see how it works?

Goerge,
Mine are a semi or gloss black. No phosphate plating.

I will be watching this one to see what it sells for. I wish I could afford another one!

Thanks George. I did not even think of the aluminum intakes being masked. How is yours coming along and since it was on the dyno what kind of numbers did it make?
13  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: welding on cast iron on: November 02, 2013, 10:09:31 AM
Thanks for the info. Good to have for future reference if I ever need it.

Nice score. That looks like a really solid car to start with. Good luck with the project I will be following along with you.

If yours is the big block make sure you have the cast exhaust manifolds on when you do it.

Yes, and wasn't the water pump on before paint on the big block so therefore a bare look on some of the timing cover and back of the water pump?

Correct there should also be overspray on the coolant hose between the pump and intake.
