General Discussion / Grease for clutch pedal shaft
« on: March 03, 2020, 01:30:21 AM »
Am putting my brake and clutch pedals back together, and need to know how much and what kind of grease I should put on the clutch shaft. When I removed it , it appeared to be some kind of white grease, but it was hard to tell. Any help would be appreciated.

General Discussion / Junior Johson
« on: December 21, 2019, 01:44:01 AM »
Just read where Junior Johnson passed away today, age 88. Sad to see the legends leave us. He was a driver ,team owner, had a book written about his exploits, which was made into a movie, The Last American Hero.Describes him to a tee. I think he took the big block Chevy AKA the mystery motor and put it on the pole ay Daytona 10 miles an hour over the other cars. would have liked to have met him.

General Discussion / Re: Removing quarter window
« on: March 16, 2019, 03:39:11 PM »
Thanks  Mike , after I posted this I went to utube thinking there wouldn't be anything so specific as 69 Camaro 1/4 window removal, but I was wrong . The first hit was exactly what I needed. It wasn't the video you posted, but it was dealing with removal only. The pass side came out without too much drama, but the drivers side was more stubborn . I think the key is turning the bottom track bolt in to get the track tilted just right. Thanks Mike and utube.

The Corvette people seem to think there is two kinds of people in the world, those who own Corvettes and people who wished they owned a Corvette.

I saw the Rolex Reunion show on Sat I think , your car was one of the featured cars. Looks great, a lot of great exposure, can't wait to see it in a race, congrats.
