Is this a factory tach or aftermarket? First thing I would do is wire up another tach and see if you get the same or different reading.

To me original is numbers matching or at least the majority of the car is and unrestored is just that; unrestored. Regular wear and tear items are understood to have been replaced. At least that is my interpretation. I guess you could call it a Survivor sub category of forum..??.. I am not talking about any type of certification process just a sub category of the forum for original unrestored (survivor) cars to display their cars and parts. This may not work as that is mainly what this site is about but there is also a lot of restoration discusses which is fine & nothing wrong with it. I guess I like the Preservation Forum over on SYC and would like to see a more Camaro based one here. Either way if there is not a lot of interest then there is no sense in bringing it up..

Another cool feature car this month.. Check it out..

I would really like to see this become the norm of seeing members cars featured here.. The stories behind the car are what make these cars so cool.. I would also like to eventually see a sub category for unrestored original cars but that may be a stretch.

Maybe just my experience.

Shifter handle looks ok to me. How is it in all 5 gears? Does it hit the console plastic tunnel? If not then I would call it good.

I would strongly suggest assembling all the panels and getting them aligned and do the drilling along with bagging the shims and even taking notes on measurements before paint (cross measurements etc). And when I say assemble everything; Im talking all sheetmetal, core support, inner fenders, extensions, header, cowl, etc. On the D90 I would paint the front portion of the stripe off the car making sure from side to side they match. Once everything is reassembled then have the decal portion of the stripe added.

Just my $0.02

Im sure others will have better/different ideas.
