Depends on the restoration quality.  Range could be $400-900..  I have 3 (2 restored and one original) and I wouldn't take less than $500 if I ever decided to sell one of the ones that are restored..

Lol...  Yeah.  The original owner bought the car in the spring of '70 then his neighbor across the street bought it from him around '71-72 and she drove it until '78 when she was "t-boned" and it sat in her garage until '89 when my father and I pulled it home..  I have a funny feeling that I will own it again before its all said and done.

I am going to have to retract my above statement..  After going back and looking at "as found" photos; the D96 stripes from my memory turned out to be an attempt of someone adding it after purchase.  Memory is failing me in my old age.  Also ignore the doofus in the one photo..  Apparently he thought he was "super cool" having a Camaro as his first car at age 13..  My apologizes.

Is this the British Racing Green L78 car from Florida?  If not please contact me.  I would like to add your cars data to my registry/database.

The trunk lid looks like its from a 67-68 firebird that someone had drilled for a camaro rear spoiler.

Bingo

If you need help with your engine you can shoot me a pm or give me call and I can give you some advice, cam choice, etc.   I would do yourself a huge favor and have a valve job and guides and have them cut for posi lock seals..

General Discussion / Annual Local Car Show
« on: October 18, 2015, 11:55:26 PM »
Spent the day at a local show that usually brings the cars out in the couple hundreds..  With the weather being in the 60's and sunny it was a perfect day for it.  Just shy of 500 cars and right at 10-15 cars (questimate #) in my class (Camaro modified)..  Classes and judging done by the local AACA chapter.

Took a few pics of the cars that I thought were cool  should have taken more but with talking with people and bsing I ran out of time..

Getting ready to head out to the show..

Some of the cars of the show.

My POS and I was lucky enough to bring home 2nd...

Interesting block..  I have no idea what the block would have been used for as far as the engineering numbers..  I would treat it like an average shortblock on pricing since you cant directly tie it to an ECN (Engineering Change Notice) from GM.

Not sure how I missed this thread..  You could have called..   :P  You going to Oktoberfest this weekend?  Also Snow White is having a car show benefit on Saturday..  Probably taking the 67 to one or both.

I'll be at Oktoberfest Sunday for sure. Did not hear about Snow White - all day or evening ? Great weekend for both - see you at one or the other.

Hope the '7 finds it's way to your garage - I'd be jealous !

Regards,
Steve

Sorry missed this..  As far as I know its a day car show at Snow White..  Looks like I have been pulled for Saturday to do yard work..  But I will be at WB&T on Sunday..  Wish me luck.  Im gonna need it to even place in my class.
