General Discussion / Re: Question on deluxe door panels

I would like to see a pic.  It sounds like someone added the houndstooth to the panels.  If it was done well then I would keep it.  IMO that is apart of the interesting add-ons done along the way.  I see nothing wrong with this because it was done early on..

55 Chevy I built back in '13.  Tried to make it look like a barn find that someone upgraded the brakes and wheels..  Its amazing what some of the guys can do with models..  I know there was one guy here that posts on occasion that does Trans Am models and I cant hold a candle to him and others Ive seen..  Still fun to build them..  Maybe others will post up models they have built.

I stopped by my mothers last night to help her with some organization of her kitchen after a remodel.  Found these that I had forgotten about and brought them home.  The green car was done by a family friend for my father.  The white 67 was done by my father back in the early 70s.

Too many variables to give an educated guesstimate.  Not sure I understand your post fully..  You say its a RS, big block stick roller but no mention of Group "4" option..  So its either a base RS with a BB & stick outside of the car or was setup for that scenario or ??  It could range from  $5 - 25K.  As bullitt mentioned would also need to know if the drivetrain is original or if not what the drivetrain actually is.  454 truck motor or 427, 396 date correct or??  Like I said, too many variables at this point.

Sorta sounds similar to Rust Veto.  I ordered a can of it to use but haven't used enough to be a spokesman for it..
