9  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Does anyone have a picture of an original 68 glove box without AC on: January 05, 2014, 08:25:47 PM
I am looking for pictures of an original glove box for my 68 Camaro without AC. I do not have the original any more and the repos I purchased are of two different shapes. One has a flat bottom and then slopes to the upper end by the top of the door and the other one has about a one inch raise at the rear before it slopes to the top by the door. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Scoop
10  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: Pilkington Classics glass thickness and quality ??? on: January 04, 2014, 08:16:54 PM
The DOT number is in a spot that is not visible when installed in the car. On the quarter windows and door windows it is on  lower end which is not visible, and the windshield and back glass it is on the lower edge and is covered by the sealant. You can only find the dot numbers if you remove the glass.  Thanks, Scoop
11  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Are the reproduction wheel well moldings any good yet? on: December 29, 2013, 07:29:09 PM
I like you have purchased about every brand out there for my 1968 Camaro to find out they are junk. I did purchase a set like you posted from D & R Classics and they fit  and look as close to the originals as any I have ever seen. I would recommend them.  Scoop

Larry has also helped me out tremendously. He is a wealth of information and always willing to share it. I first met him at the Camaro Nationals in 2011 and kept in contact ever since.  I will have my car at the Nationals this next June.    Scoop
