Does anybody have a 6 cylinder accelerator rod that they would like to sell, or know where I could buy one? Part number is 3909939.  Six cylinder parts are much harder to find everybody tossed them in the garbage. I am looking for the correct part.

94  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: Is my subframe saveable or beyond repair ??? on: May 23, 2012, 06:17:14 PM
Dave, I am not sure where you live however I have a very very clean 1968 camaro subframe there is no pit or rust on it at all I have owned it for 19 years it is in my heated and cooled basement, it does have some dents on the middle cross member (maybe from jacking) the mount hole are perfect it is from California, The best part is you can have it for free if you come and pick it up and promiss not to sale it for profit, it is free for your 68. The lower control arm bumps are correct for 68 camaro only. You don't even have to paint it there is not a scratch on it! other than the the bottom dents it is the cleanest I have ever seen, it is a bare subrame. I live in North Carolina.

There also is another 67 trunk lid that looks similar to one on chucks car the only differences is the oblong hole that is under the jack instructions is not there. The sheet metal stamp on that trunk lid is ( T01 )

98  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Top boot front lifting on highway on: April 29, 2012, 07:17:58 PM
Is it the original boot?  I have my factory original boot and it never slips out.  If you leave it in the sun for a little while it will be easy to clip on.

Original bumpers do not look like they ever had anything bolted to them, could it be that 6 bangers did not get them?
